■Dormitories of JET Academy

We have various dormitories with the top facilities and easy access to the school. You can comfortably start your life in this fully furnished dormitory from the day you arrive in Tokyo.

Nishidai Dormitory (西台寮)
Address	1-28-3 Takashimadaira, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo 175-0082
Access	5-minute walk from Nishidai station on Mita subway line. (Door to door : 25-minute to JET)
Capacity	14 persons ( 1 bedroom used by 1 person, Dining and bathroom shared by 2 persons)
Facilities	Air conditioner, bed, locker, desk, chair, futon(comforter), refrigerator, oven, electric kettle, tableware, coin laundry, etc.
Expense	・Application fee … Reservation deposit (50,000 yen) When entering the dormitory, then deposit money will be used for the first month of rent. ・Entrance fees … Initial payment (30,000 yen / 50,000 yen), fire insurance premium (6,000 yen), security deposit (30,000 yen) ・Monthly fees … Boarding-expenses (50,000 yen), water bill (1,500 yen) ・Contract renewal fee … Renewal (50,000 yen)
Floor layout	Two western style rooms (7㎡ each), dining room and kitchen, bathroom (25.27 ㎡total)

1. Application Method

For those interested in living in a school dormitory, please contact the school for availability. If there is vacancy, we will send you the dormitory application forms. Please send the filled out forms and 50,000 yen reservation deposit. When entering the dormitory, then deposit money will be used for the first month of rent.
※	If you decide not to enter the dormitory after sending the application and deposit, the deposit will not be returned.

2. Contract Period

・Short-term contract	The short-term contract is between 1 month and 90 days. ※ The short-term contract is only for those with a 90 day visa.
・Long-term contract	The long-term contract is between 91 days and 2 years. ※ As a general rule, the contract length is 6 months. For those staying 7 months or longer, a renewal fee is required.

3. About Entrance and Renewal Costs

Entrance Fee	30,000 yen	50,000 yen
Renewal fee	For those who change to a long-term contract, the 20,000 yen difference must be paid.	For those staying 7 months or longer, a renewal fee (50,000 yen) is required. After paying the renewal fee once, it is valid for the remainder of your stay.

4. Entrance Cost

Entrance fee	30,000 yen (short-term) or 50,000 yen (long-term)
Deposit	30,000 yen (After leaving the dormitory, the deposit will be returned)
Fire insurance	6,000 yen

5. Monthly Fees to the School

※ Must be paid before the start of the new month.

Boarding	50,000 yen
Water bill	1,500 yen

6. Caution

※	Reservation deposits, entrance fees, renewal fees, and boarding-expenses cannot be refunded. No exceptions.
※	When leaving the dormitory, cleaning and repair costs will be deducted. Any unpaid power, gas, or water utilities will also be paid using the deposit.
※	Gas, power, and internet costs are all actual cost prices.

Picking up students who applied for the school dormitory:

Please take Airport Limousine for Ikebukuro from Narita or Haneda Airport and get off at the terminal, Hotel Metropolitan. We’ll pick you up there and take you to the dorm.
